Hi,

Try www.bootdisk.com thats where I got the apple network book disk from,
works great! it's a great site for PC people, it used to be better for mac
people, If you really get stuck, send me a message and I'll stick it up on
the web somewhere. However I suspect that you'll still have the chicken and
egg problem. How do I get it onto a floppy disk without booting the mac
first?

I solved that problem using a PC with basillisk II on it (you can find
Basillisk II for win32 on the web easily, just watch for the gator software,
You'll need ripped ROMs too, they can be found fairly easily too.), I made a
4mb HD which contains the MacOS NAD and Stuffit Expander and shrink-wrap on
it. That should be enough to get you going. If you want the Basillisk II HD
Let me know and I'll make it available. It zips up on a PC (as it's a
windows file) to about 2mb.

Cheers, Paul.

Apple used to supply disk images (5 files). You have the self mounting
version, it will mount as a filesystem under MacOS but is pretty useless
anywhere else.
Find the disk images ( if Apple pulled them you're out of luck. Maybe I
still have them around somewhere... ) or find the "Network Access Disk" -
more or less a cut down System 7.5.3 on a floppy.

have fun
