I highly recommend that someone adapt the new MI SONIC driver I wrote for
the ARC port to work with shared-memory type cards as are found on the
Macintosh.  The new SONIC driver works much better than the old.

The new driver is in sys/dev/ic/dp83932*.  The front-end for the Jazz
ARC system is in sys/arch/arc/jazz/if_sn_jazzio.c.
