Someone once created a bootable install floppy based on the NAD. 
They pulled it a couple of days later after they read the license for 
the NAD.  Apple seems less likely to care with time though.

I'm pretty sure there are instructions in the FAQ somewhere about how 
to create some of these floppies.  As you say it requires a working 
Mac though.
