i also get the illegal instruction error when i disable the fpu device, 
fpsp and fpe on my non fpu box (see earlier mail), where i got a 
floating point exception before. this started happening with the january 
sources, altough that was the first 1.6 build i tried, so it could be an 
earlier problem...
