I've not.. (not enough space right now to have src...)

I have a both files: /var/log/cron and /var/cron/log

rzara@samedi [~] {14}# cat /var/log/cron
May  3 10:59:35 samedi crontab[1523]: (root) LIST (root)

rzara@samedi [~] {15}# cat /var/cron/log
Mar  3 19:19:12 samedi crontab[3584]: (root) LIST (root)
Mar  3 19:21:15 samedi crontab[3590]: (root) LIST (root)
Mar  3 19:44:43 samedi crontab[3682]: (root) LIST (root)

So the change did happen...
