well, I use my quadra with NetBSD almost daily. Also, I have to develop a
term-project for my OperatingSystem course and almost certainly it will get
involved.
Right now I updated several packages using make update and I run into
several problems.. But I'm too much in a rush to even ask for help ;)
You have to consider another thing: besides supporting some new hardware
(Quadra950, MacIIfx) and maintaing sync with the current NetBSD work on
MacBSD is moer a bugfix: we don't have to hunt for porting to new
processors, chipset and motherboards.
I Hope that one day all 68k macs will be good supported, IOP macs and SCSI
dma.
Maybe we add floppy and sound, but after it really remains only to
"update".
