The machine status page says that ethernet is not supported on the Q840AV.  
But the ethernet status page lists that it is working with a test kernel.  
Both of those pages are several years old.  
What's the scoop?  
I'd love to have a fast NetBSD Mac (though I love my SE/30) to play with.
