I followed the install steps for netBSD 1.6.1 but when i go to boot in the mac68k/booter it gives me an error saying the kernel is not in a format that can be read.

Hardware:
Quadra 610 mobo (w/full 040 installed)
48 megs ram
1.2 gig scsi hard drive on the stock internal bus

Software:
system 7.5.3
all the .tgz files from the ftp server in the mac68k directory (i used the generic kernel)

Booter1.11.4a3
Installer_1.1h
