I made some progress with the MacII installation. The "new" installer
Frederick put online as a .bin works better. I can attempt a boot

Strangely I can only use the SBC kernel (the non-sbc gives an illegall
instruction early in the boot phase). Does the MacII need a SBC kernel?

The real problem is the isntall though: I run sysinst, configure and format
the disks: when it comes to FTP-ing the distribution I get (to the default
/usr/INSTALL)
pid 14 (sysinst) killed: out of swap
right after ftp logged in.

this isn't nice. I have 8Mb of physical RAM and I defined about 50M of swap.
(partition type: NetBSD swap). Maybe sysinst doesn't do a swapon? or what?

Please help. I really would try to avoid using the old isntaller tools which
make me an old-style partition, lasdt a lot of time and also have usually
problems with the disks.
