I digged out "DayStar Cache & Expantion Cards USER MANUAL", now I know
we have same designed adapter and same problem which is the cards
conflict physically with FD and HD drives, right?
I solved it with moving the drives, but it might be not good idea for you.
I'll put some photos 'soon' anyway.

I've not compared them strictly and not tested Cabletron EA41x with
SE/30, so just generally(?) speaking, my SCSI to Ethernet adaptors are
twice slower than PDS NIC.
I also worry about a little bit if it is supported with 1.6.1 properly for
'030 Macs. Sorry for I can't test it now because my SE/30 is disassembled
for photo. I'll test it soon, too :)

I have another data.

SE/40 NetBSD-1.6ZG DayStar Turbo'040 44.44MHz 128MB RAM
Microseconds for one run through Dhrystone: 38.5
	Dhrystones per Second: 25974.0

It is almost same as my Quadra800.
Quadra800 NetBSD-1.6ZG '040 44.33MHz 139MB RAM
Microseconds for one run through Dhrystone: 38.0
	Dhrystones per Second: 26315.8

But, I feel that SE/40 is not so fast as my Quadra800 44MHz. Next is
the Resolts of bytebench-4.1.0 with using same HDD (FIREBALL SE6.4S).

BYTE UNIX Benchmarks (Version 4.1.0)
SE/30 '030 15.64MHz 128MB Dhrystone 2 5142.1 lps FINAL SCORE 0.6
SE/40 '040 44.44MHz 128MB Dhrystone 2 50577.0 lps FINAL SCORE 2.0
Quadra800 44.33MHz 136MB Dhrystone 2 52044.2 lps FINAL SCORE 4.0

SE/30 with DayStar PowerCache 50MHz might be 'FINAL SCORE 1.0'.
