Hello to all,
I have 2 SE/30 and I use one to build packages for the other because I
can have one turn on 24H a day.
My question is: What is the best way to update a port and in the same
time build a updated package?
What I usually do is going to the /usr/pkgsrc/*/port and
make deinstall
make package
This way I deinstall first the port so that the "make package" target
work and install/build an updated port.
I'd like to know if there is an shorter and better way of doing this.
Other point is that SE/30 are very slow to compile so I think the better
way is:
make
make deinstall && make package
I have not try it but I think it works.
What I'm looking for is something like: "make updatepackage" :)
Yours,
Nuno Teixeira
