DDB use for boot process tracing
This will probably seem like a silly question to many of you, but I'm having
some difficulty. I'm trying to trace where the kernel is hanging on LCIII
boot, and whenever I break with either Cmd-Power or a serial console break, the
stack trace is not particularly useful (since it only traces back to the
interrupt). What do I need to do to trace back and see where I'm at in the
kernel boot?
I'd just do a combination of next/until/etc, but after about a second of idle,
some timer in the machine causes a panic and I have to reboot. I suppose I
could trace the stack back manually if I have to.
