Neat. My Quadra 630 has been off since I moved in March, but I've finally 
had a chance to get it set up again. There were two problems I saw - one 
was the IDE problem we both saw and the other was that the system wouldn't 
work if I allowed NetBSD to use the full 196 megs (up to 160 megs was 
fine).

-current fixes both problems, and -Os fixes both as well, but I couldn't 
test a regular (recent) netbsd-5 kernel to see if it fixed either because 
I kept getting "Failed to set kernel symbol _boothowto." errors in the 
Booter.

I wonder what in the toolchain is so broken that not using -Os creates bad 
code... Maybe I'll have to try to make a regular kernel using gcc 4.6 or 
something like that.
