I have an 8500/132 with 32MB RAM. I used the Macos program Boot Variables
to get into open firmware and I tried to boot with the new kernel
(10/23/1998). Everything went fine until the install, shell, halt
prompt. If I type either an I or a S, I get a seg fault. After that,
there is a # prompt, but everything I type is in caps, so I can not do
anything else. This is a big improvement from the previous kernel,
which wouldn't even boot. Keep up the good work.
