More info:
What does not work for me is that my nbprgstr operations all
fail when my macppc machine comes up on an existing network with
no router.
Searching the archives, I find mention of enabling routing, but
I ended up backing off to a 1.4.1 kernel, and that seems to fix it.
I noticed this in the change list for 1.4.2...
>sys/net/if.c 1.51
>
> Fix a problem in ifa_ifwithnet() for netatalk, making atalkd
> work in more configurations.
Looks suspicious to me. Mine looks like it's not one of the "more"
configs. ;->
Ideas?
