I should have been quite a bit more clear in my last post...

I'm hoping that some kind soul will build a GENERIC-like kernel for me
that's somewhere between the last snapshot and now in age and that has
the NFS_BOOT_PARAM option, instead of NFS_BOOT_DHCP.

If anyone could build such a kernel for me, that might well bootstrap
me into being able to build my own thenceforth.
