on a walltreet 250, the GENERIC kernel for 1.5* -always- fails to get 
past the 3 magic numbers in the bootloader.

does anyone else experience this?

also, a rebuild of the GENERIC kernel on the said machine also does 
the same - can't figure out what it is im disabling in the kernel 
that makes it want to work.

IIRC the POWERMAC one falters as well. tho dont take my word for it.

should i send-pr this?
