Yup.  Just updated again, same failure modes.  I tend to doubt that the 
awacs thang is the big problem, since the linker fails first with a 
reference to "ffs_appleufs_validate".  Commenting out awacs doesn't 
make a difference for the linker problem.

Any other ideas?
