Are you absolutely sure that your disk is target 0 ? I spent a day with poi=
ntless hacking, swearing and tearing my hair out because my Ultra 10 wouldn=
't boot after installing until I finally found that my disk was target 1 fo=
r some reason, not 0 as I assumed.
And - what kind of disk is it? One of the good, old, indestructible Seagate=
Barracuda drives? These take a while to initialize and Apple's OF doesn't =
bother waiting for them - it just throws a "can't OPEN". In this case just =
retry a couple of times ( and listen for the disk to spin up ).
