deadlocks

Hello,
maybe it's just me but my dual-G4 deadlocks, build.sh will trigger it
sooner or later. Funny thing is, I don't see that on macppc with only
one CPU or on sparc64 SMP. Kernels up to 4.99.54 don't deadlock,
everything from 4.99.55 up does.
The setup might be slightly unusual though - the G4 boots from
Apple_UFS partitions ( so I can access them from OSX ), sources are
on Apple_UFS but OBJ, DEST etc. are on ffs2. Source is nfs-exported,
I couldn't get an U60 running an SMP kernel with sources from nfs and
everything else local ( ffsv1 for NetBSD, the rest on ffsv2 ) to
deadlock so I suspect it's either something in Apple_UFS or some
locking stuff in powerpc.
So does anyone with or without SMP on powerpc see deadlocks since
4.99.55?
have fun
Michael
