Beige G3 webserver

Hi,

I am considering using a Beige G3 as a webserver. I have sucessfully
netbooted my G3 B&W, but I can't make the Beige G3 netboot. It is a
Revision 1, Open Firmware 2.0f1, and I did find it in model specific page
that it is hard to boot. But even after using setenv to set boot-device to
enet:,ofwboot.xcf and boot-file netbsd it still will not netboot (it makes
every light on the switch flash and even the wireless card on my laptop
flashes, yet the dhcp server never seems to get a request from it) I am
going to use my G3 to install on an ide drive to see if that makes any
difference. The other thing that I am wondering is if I will need a faster
scsi controller. Also, could someone recommend a 4 port network card? If I
was going to try SATA drives, what controller would be the most likely to
work?
