I think applying the following patch to
src/sys/arch/powerpc/oea/ofw_autoconf.c should make it work (also
attached for conveniency).
The IDE controller on the B&W G3 is a cmdide(4), but the autoconf code
lacks the appropriate glue code to detect it.
