Hello - please forgive this intrusion - my name is Linda and I am a Website 
Designer based in Northumberland in the UK.

I also have a modest rental property and as it generates much-needed income, I 
spend a lot of time researching how to make my own Website work hard for me.

If you already have a Website AND you are entirely satisfied with its Search 
Engine ranking (and hence the business it generates for you), please accept my 
apologies for disturbing you and

If not, then you should find this interesting.

It is widely accepted that, to be effective, a Website must be :-

a) aesthetically attractive
b) informative
c) easy to use/navigate and
d) inherently appealing to Search Engines 

In fact d) is actually critical if you expect your site to be a revenue-earning 
tool.
It is pretty pointless if your product is not in the shop window. In other 
words if your Website is not ranked favourably by the major Search Engines such 
as MSN, YAHOO and GOOGLE. 

Website ranking is achieved using a technique known as OPTIMISATION yet 
somewhat surprisingly, current research suggests that as many as 70% of 
Websites today have made no 
attempt to optimise.

There are no guarantees! but a well-optimised Website has a distinct and 
indisputable advantage over its peers. It will be looked upon far more 
favourably by Search Engines and therefore 
be afforded a higher ranking.
Importantly, this can be achieved for a very modest outlay.

Many of the new sites I develop (fully optimised of course, and starting from 
as little as 350 Euros all-inclusive* for the first 12 months), appear 
regularly on the first page of Search Engines.
I'm sure that you can appreciate the positive impact these rankings can have on 
business/bookings.

In practical terms though, it is difficult for anyone other than the original 
developer to optimise an existing Website. Under these circumstances, the 
service I offer is a customised report.
A report will outline how you can vastly improve your current Website yourself. 
Each unique report takes about 2 days to produce (including 4-5 hrs preliminary 
research), will contain 30-40 
recommendations and yet only costs 150 Euros.
Consequently they are very much in demand.!

I will leave it there for now I think. I realise this is not always easy to 
digest. At the end of the day my aim is simply to increase your bookings by 
maximising the number of visitors your Website 
receives. Perhaps recoup some of your outlay.
