Yes. And on other platforms. It basically means that the ntp
synchronization flags change from including "fll" or not in the status
word, as can be viewed with "ntpdc -c kern", ref. <sys/timex.h> and
the STA_* constants.
Whether you see these events are really dependent on the quality of
your local clock, and the quality of your ntp time sources, and the
network in between, if I understand correctly. Personally I've never
seen any of my systems consistently and stably sync up with "fll"
(frequency locked loop) set.
