Sorry, I don't remember the details.  I think I've just did a trimmed
down version of what src/distrib/cdrom does for macppc, except I put
only ofwboot and the kernel on the disk.  I guess it should work with
plain 9660 disk without any mac-specific magic too, it's just I
already had the script with the mkisofs invocation to create the ISO
image (to dd to the disk to boot the mac off without having to mess
with hfs).
