With ofb configured, the last two lines of kernel messages I see
printed are

ofb0 at pci0 dev 0 function 0: vendor 10de product 0141
ofb0: 1920 x 1200, 8bpp

While the screen stays on, it just "sits there", and after a
while the fan speed picks up and I decide to call it quits with a
long press on the power button.
