Just to clarify, did you use a compressed kernel (netbsd.gz) or
uncompressed kernel (stock netbsd).
When I was testing with uwe the other week, we discovered the issue is
with using an uncompressed kernel. There's no issue with using
ofwboot.xcf and a gzipped kernel.
