I've heard rumors that a NetBSD port for the MIPS magnum machines exists
somewhere, or that at various times various people have expressed
interest in completing the port.

I have a chance to get a CDC 4320, which I hear is a rebadged Magnum
3230, and I'm wondering if I should bother getting ahold of it.  If I
can't do anything with it, I'd be more than happy to make sure it gets
into the hands of somebody who can.  :)
