Is a NetBSD (or any BSD supporting pf) port plausible for the linksys
wrt54g? I understand that the wireless driver is a binary and not
open/available, but a very rudimentary port for simple routing and
pf/nat/altq (IE no wireless) would be very useful to some (myself
included). I'm a weak programmer but relatively technical so I'd
really like a straight answer as to if a port is possible (I'd be
willing to offer a small bounty for the relatively simple features I
require, *No Wireless*).
I'm in need of an inexpensive QoS/NAT box (less than the soekris).
I've been using the sveasoft builds for the wrt54g but would much
rather use a bsd with pf support.
Thanks in advance,
nb
