XEmacs on mips

All,

for a long time, editors/xemacs Makefile has been marked as "broken for 
mips". I suspect this may be obsolete after switching to the portable 
dumper, but I have no way to check.

Could anybody with access to a mips machine comment out

% grep mips editors/xemacs/Makefile 
BROKEN_ON_PLATFORM=     *-*-mips*       # fails purespace dumping
%

and check if the result builds and runs?
