I know. But you don't wont the changes from 1.3 to 1.4 when building
with a 1.3.2 tree. I'm using a couple of new macros (KENTER, ...)
to be able to build a version of memcpy/bcopy/... that is usable when
compiling a kernel with -mrtd. At the moment kernels with -mrtd are
"almost" working.

I'd say yes. But it would be nice, if you could verify that the patch
cures your perl problems.
