This is the problem:

% gdb ./hello

Has anybody else run into this and/or found a solution?

Here is my source:

% cat hello.c
#include <stdio.h>

int
main () {
  printf ("Hello, World!\n");

  return 1;
}
% gcc -g hello.c -o hello
% ./hello
Hello, World!
%
