Ok, took advice and read up on disktab, now I'm having some trouble. 
I think that this is the correct layout for my drive, at least I think
for the partition part, I know that the second line specifying the drive
geometry is correct, however I'm having a bit of trouble now with this
error, I've looked around and still cant figure it out.

My disktab entry looks like this.

rz25|RZ25|DEC RZ25 Winchester:\  
        :dt=SCSI:ty=winchester:ns#62:nt#9:nc#1492:\
        :pa#81920:oa#0:ba#8192:fa#1024:\
        :pb#65536:ob#81920:bb#8192:fb#1024:tb=swap:\
        :pc#823608:oc#0:bc#8192:fc#1024:\
        :pd#676152:od#147456:bd#8192:fd#1024:\

I try to label using this.

disklabel -w -B -b /usr/mdec/rzboot -s /usr/mdec/bootrz rz2 rz25 "newlabel"

And this is the error I get.

disklabel: ioctl DIOCSDINFO: Open partition would move or shrink
