Um, one other question - did you install the NetBSD binary snapshot? The
X11R6.3 uses the shared library support that's in the latest snapshot.
I'll bet this is your problem. I just copied xterm to a system that
does not have the shared libaries, and I get the "syntax error" message
when trying to run it.
If this is the case, you will need to get the base.tar.gz snapshot and
restore at least the /usr/libexec/ld.so and /usr/lib/*so* files.
