This means you don't have a pointer (mouse) plugged in (or it wasn't
detected). If you're using a serial console, it's nothing to worry
about. If you are using a serial console, you probably also got a
similar message about Kbd as well as Pntr.
Otherwise, either your mouse or one of the serial ports may not be
working. From the "Ln#1" above I'd guess the mouse was on the second
serial controller (scc1). This could tie in with you getting no further
than scc0 (the first serial controller).

The serial console is on scc0, so if you aren't using a serial console,
you could try that. When was the last time you used Ultrix on the
machine?
