I was looking around on the netbsd.org website, and noticed the following on
http://www.netbsd.org/Ports/pmax/index.html:
"The 5000/1xx and 5000/2x models (3MIN and MAXINE) can be upgraded to a
5000/150 or 5000/50 by replacing the r3000 CPU daughterboard with a
50MHz r4000 CPU. The 5000/240 can be upgraded to a 5000/260 with a
60MHz r4400 CPU daughterboard. These are supported in NetBSD 1.2G
snapshots as of July 1997 and in NetBSD 1.3."
I know that 1.3 is forthcoming, but I did'nt know about a july snapshot.
Latest on ftp.netbsd.org seems to be June 6. I do recall Jonathan
mentioning a something about a snapshot when he put up the latest "test"
kernels (sundayish?)...
Anyway, I'm wondering if there is a snapshot floating around that I missed,
or something.
