Being back from vacation I'm revisiting my attempts to put together a
stable NetBSD/pmax system. With the current snapshot I'm experiencing
a couple of problems: (DS5000/25 PMAGB-B)
1- In X the mouse seems to itermittantly "skip" -- usually during
periods of serious disk activity -- usually it skips upwards about 30
pixels. (There was a DELAY loop problem mentioned a few days ago --
is this related?)
2- Has anyone written the "unexec" code for a modern NetBSD/pmax so
that emacs will dump correctly?
3- While 'more-ing' a large file my process sometimes
"disappears". I've only experienced this while telnet-ed to the
system. No core, no trace, poof! (Although I've noticed
some weirdness with terminal settings maybe something simple
is screwed up...)
4- I can't seem to sup from sup.netbsd.org:
% ./sup -fv supfile.kernel
SUP 8.26 (4.3 BSD) for file supfile.kernel at Aug 21 12:03:35
SUP Upgrade of current-ksrc-common at Fri Aug 21 12:03:36 1998
SUP Fileserver 8.13 (4.3 BSD) 18959 on netbsd.warped.com at 12:03:36
SUP Requesting changes since Dec 31 19:00:00 1969
SUP: Network write timed out
SUP: Buffering already enabled
SUP: Error sending needed files list to file server
SUP: Upgrade of current-ksrc-common aborted at Aug 21 12:13:41 1998

TIA for any help,
-Jas
