I havent been keeping up with port-pmax or 1.3.1 work for a week or
so, due to a combination of work deadlines and personal reasons.

The 1.3.1 source release is frozen and there are very few changes from
the `1.3.1_BETA' release.  Rebuilding a real 1.3.1 release should take
little time.  If everything goes according to schedule,, 1.3.1 pmax
binaries will be out Monday.   

It will include fixes for the recently-mentioned ld.so bug, which
has caused problems with tcsh, twm, fvwm,  and perl.
