Assuming you've already installed all of /usr/src/sys at there;

	# cd /sys/arch/pmax/conf
	# cp GENERIC YOURMACHINE

	... edit it appropriately
	... You have to make youself accustomed with your hardware
	... configration

	# /usr/sbin/config YOURMACHINE
	# cd ../compile/YOURMACHINE
	# make depend && make netbsd

	... after compilation well done
	
	# cp ./netbsd.aout /xnetbsd

Then try to boot your machine with the net kernel.  Don't rename and/or
remove original kernel at the root directory (you would deeply regret it).
