O.K.  here's a sure indication of my ignorance ( I have read the termcap man page though
):

I copied the info on the rcons into /usr/share/misc/termcap, rebooted and tried to use
rcons-color ( and rcons ) when prompted at login.  The system replied that it was an
unknown device.

Question:  What additional steps do I need to perform to use this terminal type?
