problem:
Getting the baud-rate of the terminal-unixbox-connection to a higher =
level than those sucking lame 9600bauds.
Getty can be configured to a higher baud-rate, but if i don't =
execute
"window", i have problems with the screen-controls(scrolling too =
far,etc.).
If i do so, i get problems with window, because it's "baud" variable =
is
defaultly set to 9600.=20
I also tried "wscons", but no success, /dev/ttyE* and /dev/ttyE?conf
do not exist(???).
Upcoming Questions:
Is wscons supported for DEC5000/240 ?
Can anyone tell me, how to set variables in the .windowrc =
phile(baud-rate)
[i tried "baud=3D38400;", didn't work :( ] ?
if window emulates virtual consoles, how are they named, and are =
they
also configured in the /etc/ttys phile ?
hope, i'm not the only one who had these probs...
greets, n0-1
