Right. Thats why we need something like libx86emu or rasops/genfb in the
bootloader. Because we have no working video until genfb attaches.
Prep has a nasty nasty hack in the bootloader to sort-of bring the device into
text mode. However, it only works on the S3 video, and its not quite correct
as far as the video timings are concerned. It makes the screen a little
bizzare, and probably isn't too good for some monitors.

This is what I have in ofppc. Macppc does something similar I think.
genfb* at pci? dev ? function ?
wsdisplay0 at wsemuldisplaydev? console 1
wsdisplay* at wsemuldisplaydev?
