i think when christos says adding fenv.h support is not hard, he
means for someone familiar with the FP of a particular CPU.  :-)

it involes creating <machine/fenv.h> and the backend code that is
necessary for it.  for instance, see here:

to see what was necessary for sparc64.

there may be fenv.h support for ppc in some other bsd we can use.
