Ahh, I didn't know that the PowerPC porting efforts still lacked PPC 601
support.  I'll have to check `ye olde' PowerPC archives on the Motorola
site (http://www.motorola.com/SPS/PowerPC/) to better understand the
differences between the 601 and 604.
