I am already working on the machine dependent code for the PowerStack II
machine based on J. Thorpe's Firepower support code.
(src/sys/arch/ofppc/firepower) Note that the "right" port for this
machine is port-ofppc. (AFAIK) port-prep is for PReP machines without
OpenFirmware. port-ofppc is for all generic PPC machines with
OpenFirmware.=20

BTW: There is a port-s390, if you have access to and experience with
this class of hardware. ;-)=20

Look at http://docs.sun.com/ where you can find a OpenFirmware command
reference. (806-1377-10.pdf)
Note that the OpenFirmware debugging functions are only usefull up to
the point where the kernel initializes its own memory management. The
OFW uses the MMU too and if you switch back to the OFW without restoring
the OFW MMU setup the machine will crash.=20
