Hmm, GENERIC32_IP3x and ip3xboot built from today's sources and
fetched from NetBSD-daily/HEAD/200802190000Z work fine on my R5000 O2.
With crmfb or are you using a serial console?
Which versions did you try?
Good question - two or three days ago I think. Downgrading arch/
sgimips/stand to 2008-02-20 made it work again. Also, an older kernel
with unacclerated crmfb works fine as well.
Seriously, I don't have the faintest idea how the boot loader would
have any effect on the acceleration code. The kernel boots without
errors, just video output is garbage.
I'll update again, maybe I got something half committed.
