release cross-build failed for sgimips

command-line (on my Slackware linux x86 box) was:

../build.sh -u -U -m sgimips -T /mnt/hdb2/tools -O /mnt/hdb2/obj -x -X ../xsrc 
release (and i set export X11FLAVOUR=Xorg first)
