I hate to say this, but it seems that SunOS has the
same problem..

fdc: unexpectedly busy - stat 0xff
fdc: no RQM - stat 0xff
fd0 at obio 0xf7200000 pri 11

Is in amongst the boot up mesgs when an SLC boots.
