Hello eveyone
I am trying to find out if a pc style SCSI CD-ROM,
that is, one with a 2048 byte sector size, can be made
to work on an IPX running NetBSD.
As it is known, both Sun-OS and Solaris expect a 512
byte sector size, but i`ve heard this to be a software
problem.
This would also provide me with a good excuse to use NetBSD,
at which i`ve alwais looked favourably for the availability of
the source. Are there any noticeable performance drawbacks
compared with Sun-OS 4.X
I apologize if this information is already availible, but i`ve
been unable to find it
Thanks.
Roberto de Iriarte.
