My "netscape_dns" 2.0 works without problems (didn't try Java), excect
that I have to append our dommainame to $DISPLAY because it does no
/etc/hosts lookup.
I noticed a small (about 1 sec) delay when looking up hosts, but this
is a 8 MB SPARC 1, so I wouldn't consider it a problem. My resolv.conf
is
vvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvv
lookup file bind

(named is on the same machine)
The system is NetBSD-1.1 with the native named.
Let me say that the emulations in NetBSD are real winners for
me. Thanks!
Happy Hacking
